PITRU PAKSHA -A TIME TO PLEASE OUR ANCESTORS

 Pitru Paksha 2020: According to the Panchang, Pitru Paksha is starting from the date of Chaturdashi of Shukla Paksha in Bhadrapad month. On this day, Chaturdashi's date ends at 9.38 am. After this, the date of full moon will start. Purnima Shraddha is also known as Purnima Shraddh.


The importance of Shraddha and the
result of the worship of ancestors in the Pitru Paksha is achieved. According to astrology, Pitra dosha is also mentioned in the faults mentioned. Pitra dosha always causes trouble, crisis and conflict in a person's life. Therefore, it is said to be very important to correct this defect. In Pitra Paksha, thanks are given to the ancestors through Shraddha Karma. By doing this, fathers are happy and offer their blessings. At the same time, by performing Shraddha Karma, the soul of the ancestors gets peace.


How to perform Shraddha in Pitru Paksha
According to Vedic religion, ancestors should be performed on their death date. It is believed that it is best to perform Shraddha Ashtami of the father and Shraddha of the mother on the date of Navami. If there is a premature death, Shraddh should be performed on the day of Shraddha Chaturdashi. Shradh of saints and ascetics is performed on Dwadashi. Apart from this, the ancestors whose death date is not known, then their shraadh should be performed on Amavasya.

Why Shraddha Karma Is required
Performed By performing Shraddha Karma, the grace of the fathers is obtained. There is also a tradition of giving donations in the Pitru Paksha. Defects are eliminated by performing Shraddha. If there is Pitradosh in the birth chart then this dosha ends. Due to which disease, money crisis, problems in work, etc. are removed. Performing Shraddha destroys mutual discord and estrangement in the family. Respect for elder members of the household increases. During the Pitru Paksha, work should be done keeping calm and mind calm. Evil, mass-alcoholism and wrongdoings should be avoided. During this time, no one should even say abusive words.
