Vastu shastra the ancient Indian divine science of architecture and natural living has underlined various rules that evoke positive or negative wavelength in our surroundings. A well designed house which is not compatible with vastu principles may not offer comfort to the residents even if equipped with all latest technology. The buildings or house built as per the vastu principles bring luck, fortune and good health to its inhabitants just by the virtue of having a positive energy flow cycle due to vastu compatibility.

 

The laws of vastu as defined in ancient Indian texts are complex and mathematically derived. Many infer the texts according to their own understanding. There are however some basic principles that most Vastu Shastra experts agree upon. Having a house located near a temple is one principle which has had a lot of conflicting opinions over the years.

As per the vastu principles, buying a house near a temple is not recommended, but if a house or building has already been constructed or bought, there are some vastu remedies for house near a temple. There are three basic vastu rules when it comes to living close to a temple.

·         The first rule is that the house or plot should be at least 25 meters or 80 feet away from the entrance of the temple. Anything less than the mentioned distance is considered to be negative for the residents of the house and may need remedial measures to offset any negative vastu forces.

·         The second rule is that the house or property’s gate should not face a temple directly.

·         The third and by far the most important rule is that the shadow of a temple must never fall on the house.

So, what is the vastu remedies for house near a temple?

If you are having a plot or thinking of constructing a new house near a temple, make sure that the boundary of the house is not directly touching the temple compound. If the temple’s location is in the southern or western direction of the house, it is an auspicious location auguring well for money, finances and gains. On the other hand if the temple or its towers are in the eastern or northern direction, they may block the inflow of positive energy in your house leading to blockage of energy and subsequent issues.
